SUMMER BRIDGE PRODUCTIONS

Bridging the gap to diversity, equity, & inclusion in film and television

Clinay Wills & Sened Isaac

Co-Founders

We are Summer Bridge Productions, a Los Angeles-based production company bridging the gap to diversity, equity, and inclusion in film and television for writers, producers, directors, and crew members.

Founders Clinay Wills and Sened Isaac are two girls from the Westside of Fresno and Eastside of San Jose who started Summer Bridge Productions with a desire to tell stories of the forgotten, overlooked, and misunderstood. With a passion for sharing the totality of the American experience, Summer Bridge Productions actively takes on projects that uncover the essence of what it means to be American without ignoring the perspectives and life experiences of those who are overlooked and/or misunderstood. With an emphasis on using film and television to help understand people and why they do the things they do, Clinay and Sened founded Summer Bridge Productions in 2020 determined to become champions for the voiceless and those who were never given their dues in history.

The pair met on their first day of college during California State University, Northridge's Summer Bridge Program, their entry to college, and the future name of their production company. They quickly became close friends, taking film classes together and rushing to enter the world of management and representation post-graduation. When they started working in entertainment, they quickly found that their workspaces rarely had people who looked like them, nor did the shows and movies they worked on reflect the diverse world and experiences around them. Summer Bridge Productions was founded in 2020 because Clinay and Sened felt that these experiences and stories need their time and space, and they wanted to be the ones to bring them to life.

A privileged select few are typically responsible for telling history to the masses, leaving many human experiences untold. Here at Summer Bridge Production, we pull these stories out of the hearts and minds of those who want to be heard and present them to an audience eager to hear new perspectives. We believe these stories deserve their rightful place in history and fight hard for fresh and cutting-edge content and programming to tell stories and dreams that have their proper place on mainstream television screens. We believe that diversified content helps shape our culture and plays a significant role in seeing the world. We reject tropes and advocate for stories that humanize characters through accurate portrayals of life experiences.

Since our inception, we've built a team of storytellers and visionaries who are actively developing stylized content that we are excited to announce soon. With a combined 20+ years of experience in entertainment, we have worked on shows such as Sharp Objects, The Purge, This is Home, Get Out, Wu-Tang: An American Saga, Swagger, Tick Tick Boom, Hillbilly Elegy, Wedding Season, Curious George, The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Married to Medicine and The Foster Sisters “Barely Famous.”

 Until then, stay tuned!
